Bob, I caught mostly all Black Crappie this year. Maybe one or two whites. Seems like you catch mostly whites. At least your pics show mostly whites. Do you fish for them any differently? Do they hang out in different places or different depths than the blacks? Seems my favorite canals in the Cheramie area produce only Blacks. Could you share your thoughts ? Thanks , Jimmy

Jimmy the truth is i catch way more blacks than whites, but typically the whites will be bigger...i love that fish with its green color and vertical bars...so i take more photos of them...i have done well this year, had some trips with 15 or more and the big fish was 2 and a half...i really dont fish any different for them...and many come from the main canal...so any of those canals can have a few...although you prob..wont find them in the clear water canals. they like that stained or muddy water...i hope they are making a come back..this is the first year in a while that i have seen numbers in that area...years ago they were plentiful...not sure why they disappeared...they have always been elusive here in the south. one year you will see a bunch in an area and then they disappear ..good luck fishin...
