    Question Crappie Poles and Reels

What are your favorite poles and reels to use? I have been looking to upgrade and buy some new poles and would like to outfit them with a good reel. I would appreciate your input to help me decide on which to purchase!

Be ready for a lot of different answers. I use 10 ft. Am. Rodsmith and 10 ft. Quantum graphites. Use Pflueger auto. fly reels to hold line. Mostly vertical jig. I have ultralite spinng Pflueger President if casting small spinners or jig under float. A lot of people use the B&M poles but choice of reels in unlimited.....

I use the 11ft BnM Custom Crappie with Zebco #11 triggerspins on them. I vertical jig tops with 1 jig and fish channels with 4 jigs. I personally like my reel seats on the end of the pole and I like the feel of cork. The reels are pretty cheap, but they are good for about 3-5 years.

I fish mostly tightline with BnM Ultralite's and just a little cheap line minder reel, just to keep the depth. When casting a float and jig, I use either a 5.5 or 6 ft ul from walmart with the small open face reels.
You can't fish with a hung line!

10 ft B&M rod with Wally Marshall Deluxe Round Crappie Reel (which is not the best out there) for trolling and 5 ft ultralight rod with the smallest spinning reel i can put my hands on for popping a cork/jig.
