That looks good , now just give him a jig. No on second thought if he is like mine were at that age he would have it in his mouth at that age. haha

i was painting jig heads tonite for a little while and brody (16 months old) really wanted to be involved. so i gave him a little jig body to play with. you know the kind made by bass assassin that has the long single tail, well in no time he had bitten off the tail and was doing his best to try to spit it out on the floor. it was actually kind of funny. so yes, i know what you mean by only give him what you don't mind him eating. hehehe

12 inch worm? Sounds like you are raising him to be a bass fisherman...lol
You can't fish with a hung line!

Default Never too early to learn.

With all the stuff children can learn today, I think this is the best! ALL of my children, neices, nephews, and firends children get their first fishing pole from Uncle Scott as soon as they are old enough to hold it...and I get plenty of calls for babysitter action too---LOVE EVERY MINUTE OF IT!! I spend enough time on these drilling rigs (and never hear a childs voice or see the cute things they do)--I never miss a chance to take a kid fishing!!
    Good Job!!

actually, johnny, the reason i put a huge worm on it is so when he slings it and hits me with it, it does not hurt. it is a purely safety thing. i had a big ole slip cork on it, and after he smacked me with it three or four times, i went looking for something softer. hehehe
