You can't fish with a hung line!
chicot lake is a hard lake to fish sometimes,i have fished it for over fifty yrs. and it is rare that i do not catch a mess of fish when i go.
although i must admit some times it is a mixed bag.
gators stink
its been tough the last couple of weeks, i managed to pick up a couple of bass friday, as far as white percch go looks even harder. normally you can see fish stacked up in the channel on the north end (on sonar) and there is nothing there i dont know where the fish went cuz i aint seen em any where on the lake. personally i think its because of all the grass dissapearing they got nowhere to hide so i think they are in shock and tring to find whatever cover they can get
