hah... maybe... but it's too easy to catch big white perch out there when it is cooler. a little friendly tourney right now could separate the men from the boys, or the "Minnows" from the "Trophy Kings", "Crappie Wall Hangers" etc., as the case may be. :D

Would this be a team tourney or every man for himself? 10 fish per person or per boat? I might try to make this either way. Having fished several summer tournies, 13 lbs is usually the 10 fish average (even though I've never done one on Larto.) As long as ya'll give directions to whichever landing or weighin spot, I'm good with it. Just name the place and date.

I'm guessing it'll be teams. top ten or five or however many per boat. I guess that larto would be the best place to meet up since everyone knows how to get there... Youngbloods is a good 10 minutes from my camp by boat with my 75 so I dunno if everyone would want to use that extra gas running from larto to my camp and then back to larto to load up. There is the ski point landing and Cross bayou landing on my side. Or maybe we could see about using Uncle Bud's as the meetup place. I have a friend of mine with a big camp on larto that we could probably use to cook and eat there if that works better. I vote for august first.

Sounds good to me,,,,,ill bring some plates,,napkins,,forks,,spoons,,ket cup,,,,tater sauce,,and bag of fries,,,,im in

    !!!!
    .
k...how about $10 a boat,,u can have 2 guys per boat,if someone wanted to fish alone sure no prob still $10 a boat,,10 fish,,,top weight wins the pot,,$5 buy in for big fish catagory,(per person) not team,,we just need to decide on a landing,,,you got open bayou,,which is here in deville,,,you got ski point, no electric so might be hard to clean fish,,uncle buds on larto sounds like its the best place,,,if ox can get the ok for his buddies camp,,that would be great.you also have cross bayou which is a great "central located landing" of the whole complex so if you wanted to go to larto u could or if you wanted to fish saline lake you could,I know Red wouldnt have a problem us weighing fish there...pay into pot when u launch the boat,,lets put ox in charge ,,lol, of collecting the money that morning and writting down the teams,,lol thanks ox for volunteering,,lol . fish from daylight to say 10am,fish dont have to be alive,,since this is a simple"get together" more than anything, come back weigh fish,,clean them and fry them up,,pray we catch something,,i would bring some but my freezer is empty,,we already ate everything i had..,,then eat, hang out talk,,should be done around 2pm,,sounds like a fun day!!
