It’s est I have found. Have never seen any without dye that is bait specific. All theaquarium stuff is awful expensive
What are you guys using in your tanks for additives? I've been using the sure-life minnow formula and it seems to do good, but I really hate the blue water. The advantage to the blue water is I can easily prove to the warden that its not lake water.. but its just annoying. Anything out there thats better that maybe doesnt have the blue dye? Or is just better in general? I know theres a million aquarium products for taking the chlorine and all that out, but id rather stay on the bait specific side for cost effectiveness. The sure-life better bait is $30 to treat 2,400 gallons.

That Better-Bait by Sure Life is about as good as it gets. It is far more cost effective then any of your clear aquarium chlorine/ chemical removal products. Just curious why does the blue dye bother you? If your getting residual dye on bait, minnow nets, bait coolers etc. Then your over using it, just my two cents for what it's worth. Don't take a whole lot, my minnow tank water when in use has a very light tint to it.

It's just that my tank is in my garage in a dark area so there isn't much light to begin with, when the water turns blue it makes it even harder to see the bait in the bottom of the tank. It's not super blue or anything. Like I said, just annoying.
I have gotten bait from a bait shop and had my net and bucket turn blue, I cant imagine how much they added! I overdose slightly to be on the safe side and I've not had anything dyed.
