I store in yellow corn meal in a plastic container. I poke holes in the lid and keep in the fridge.
A friend of mine in Kansas wants some soldier fly larva for ice fishing this winter. I am linking up with him in a couple weeks for a 2 day crappie trip and I was going to give him some. I have a question: what do you store the larva in when you are ice fishing? Same question except in warm weather when the bluegills are bedding or later. A small styrofoam box? Some moist bedding? All suggestions will be appreciated.
