The first attempt to drive to Shelbyville was a complete failure. I made it about 90 miles and the car started to run poorly. I was having to use fourth gear to go up small hills. Then it bogged down and went into limp home mode. It seemed to be loosing power, fast. Turning the car off and on brought it back to life but it still did not have the power it should have. I ended up leaving the car at a gas station and going home to get the wifes convertible to tow the boat the rest of the way, I wasn't gonna miss another camp. I had missed Tennessee camp to weeks prior because this same car needed a power steering pump!
Well, her car had no problem. I did not think it would because it's her car that bought the boat up 1200 miles from Florida. Weird thing is, both cars have the same engine and both have a manual transmission. There's a problem with the other car and I'll just have to figure it out. Probably a clogged cat, or it needs a fuel filter.
