What are your favorite colors for the big lakes, smaller lakes, and rivers?

Bass baits? Crappie jigs? Flip flops?

If you are asking about crappie jigs, mine are red and chartreuse and pink and white.Black is the standard for shellcracker jigs.

    ... are :

lime green/chartreuse solid body tubes (Crappie Pro brand)
elec blue/chartreuse hollow body tubes (BPS Sparkle Squirts brand)
    solid chartreuse marabou Roadrunner 1/16oz
    albino shad (Panfish Assassin brand)

... in most any body of water I've fished, over the last 10yrs :p
Normally I'm using the plastic bodies on a 1/32 or 1/16oz weedless jighead, and casting to cover. The Roadrunner is widely used as a search bait, but also as a followup bait and primary bait, if the cover isn't too dense.

My favorite is usually whatever the fish tell me they want.

Right now on KY, they are showing an overwhelming preference for blue/white and black/blue on the days that I have been out.

After having just started spider rigging, I am now wondering how many days I got skunked casting by simply not throwing the color that they wanted. I always preferred chartruese with silver flake, electric blue, lime green and chartreuse/red for that but I have learned pretty quickly by being able to sample numerous colors at once.. crappie are a lot more picky about color than anything else that I have ever fished for.
