    Default Ready for a change...

the wonderful weather that we had today made me wish i was fishin' somewhwere, but I had my day filled with chainsaws and downed trees. I wish I could have sunk all the limbs in the lake...would have made some great cover...on the other hand I would not have got to fish all year if I sank all the branches and trees that were in my yard alone. I know I'm not the only one out there with downed trees; just want to remind everyone to stay safe when cleaning up. I don't want to see another ice storm for a long, long time...would not hurt my feelings if I never saw another ice storm or even another snow flake. Just ready to trade the chainsaw for a fishing rod. How about ya'll?

Spent a good part of the day doing the same thing. Trees and just a general clean up. It was tooo nice to be inside. Lakes and creeks are still iced in around here and the river is still up and muddy. Won't be as long as it has been.

I hear ya. I am so ready to go. I did some of the same sort of things. Had no limbs simply because three of the four trees in my yard had already blown down due to other storms. Stuck to normal honey do list.

I'm like Jigboy, I lost my 2 big trees a few years ago so very little clean up, BUT across the street there's a pile of limbs about 60 feet long 20 feet wide and 10 feet high waiting pick up. YEP there all from 1 yard.

    Me too.
Live in Audubon Park which is loaded with old trees. Also have a bunch at the church. But my main problem is remodeling a bathroom. The wife says I can't go fishin until its done - does that seem reasonable to yall?!
