Is it worth $9 admission and $6 parking? I have never been to the Louisville show. I don't think the Lexington show is worth the price of admission, but that's just me.

I haven't bothered going to the Lex Boat Show in umpteen years :p (even with free parking). I know of, at least, two boat dealers that have recently gone under. That pretty much limits the choices, for those that wish to shop locally.
About the only thing that would warrant me going to one of these shows, would be a 50% off boat sale :D
I don't need any more tackle, and what tackle I do purchase ... is mostly from the members here, or my local tackle shop (Backwaters/Lexington).

they have less than the local Wally World :D which carries little of anything I'm interested in buying. The local Dicks Sporting Goods is no better, and I've pretty much quit even going there to look. There is a Tackle Warehouse, and they've got pretty much anything I'd care to look at, as far as tackle ... but, I lose so little tackle that I rarely have a reason to shop for any. I don't get the opportunity to go all that often, and when I do go, I'm using weedless jigheads, so I don't break off very much.
About the only thing I wish I could find, is a solid body tube of the same color as the Electric Blue/Char hollow tube (BPS Sparkle Squirts). I've had alot of luck with that color, but the hollow tubes don't stand up to my fishing methods :p
Wouldn't mind having a solid body tube in Junebug/Char, either

depends on the person going I guess. I went last year as there was a crappie seminar, but there's none this year. The show has been scaled down due to the economy, but there will still be a lot to look at. Just an expensive way to spend a COLD Sunday to me.
