at Monroe lake April 18 2010 spider rigging in 5 feet of water. weighed 2lbs 4.5 oz. It's going on the wall as an 8 x 10

Couple crappie son and I caught. He's 11 now and has been crappie fishing for the past 12 years. Yep, first time with his Momma when she was 8 months pregreant at Weiss Lake, AL.

Here's one from last April I forgot to stick on here that was caught by my brother Dan. It is a shade under 3 pounds, caught mid day on Blood River. It was 7 feet of water with stakes up about 4 feet. Southern Pro tube tipped with minnow under a casting bobber.

Caught at 22 ft. during the first week of April at Blood River, mid afternoon. Measured 17" and let it go.

Biggest I ever caught was 17.5". Was in Barren. Took to taxidermist and left it to be mounted. His freezer died and I lost my fish.Was several yrs ago. Would loved to of had mine on the wall. I saw a guy put the knife to one near 18" once on Barren... I couldn't believe it...
