Default GREEN THE LAST 2 SUNDAYS

Last Sunday about 10 minutes after we started fishing the East winds started blowing something terrible. So we had to drive down the lake until I found a place that was blocked form the wind pretty good. Luckily it was a place where there was tons of shad and hungry crappie with them. Ended up with 47 keeper size fish and 32 of those was 10 to 13.5". All was released. 99% of them was caught in open water. Yesterday, had pretty strong SW winds. So If you know much about SW winds at green there aint to many places to get out of it so just had to fight it. It was a little different than last Sunday this time we was on a meat hunt and 99% of the fish was caught in brush and the over all size wasn't as good. Ended up taking us around 6 hours to get our 40 and only 18 of them was 10 to 13.5". Pretty all the fish both days was egged up pretty good. The best thing about both days was I didn't see another crappie fisherman either of the days and only a couple bass fisherman last Sunday. Water temps was from mid to upper 50's...

Sounds like a couple of good productive trips. Wind can make it challenging though but the results sound good.

I stayed main lake in the wind fishing deeper stuff & ended up with 30 last Sunday. I wanted to try the terrova out in some howling wind & it worked flawlessly. I did have to jog around to get the bow into best position sometimes as strong as it was blowing. Did have water come over the bow a few times but she held.
