Water is 55 degrees and stained, almost muddy.
Crappie are a little slow but can be caught.
Everyone I talked to complained about getting a lot of small ones.
Very typical for Taylorsville.
Hello everyone, been working way too much to fish but now have a very bad itch to get back out, any reports on T-vill this year? I have fished there a lot in years past but just curious how things are looking so far! Thanks and God Bless!

Sorry, buddy ... ain't been to T-ville in the last two years. But, like JCC says ... you usually have to wade thru a ton of dinks to get a keeper (>10"), but it's been that way forever (even back when the size limit was 9").
Cooler weather this coming week will slow them down some, but whenever the weather starts warming back up and the level is stable or on a slow rise .... that's the time to be thrashing the banks and dippin around the standing timber & deadheads.

Went Saturday for first time. Always good when the boat starts. Caught several fish. Managed 7 keepers. Caught all my fish in 30-40 foot water 12-15 foot deep. I was pleased but just glad to get out there.
