This morning I went to my local Walmart and got my license. I also got a surprise. It seems that the Commonwealth of Kentucky has added a 5% Administration Fee so the merchants who handle the transaction can make a little money for their services. Fair enough. $12.30 is still a great deal for a combination fishing/hunting license with all the tags included. I pay over $100 a year to trout fish in Tennessee, and use the facilities at Reelfoot Lake.

Got mine taken care of. A couple of years ago forgot to renew those things and fished a week before remembering. That could have been bad, but someone was looking out for me.
