    Default Boat License

What percent of Boat License fees and Boat prperty tax goes to the Ky. Department of Fish and Wildlife. I licensed a 18' jon boat and just the license was $50.00 not including tax. I then asked what a license was for a vehicle and was told the plate was $21.00. Something doesn't seem right with this picture.

They will get you at every turn. Even more so when it is a piece of outdoor equipment

Was the registration fee $50.00? If so, they charged you too much, unless the KYDFW haven't updated their web site.

And it’s not multi year either is it. That’s expensive for sure…

IT being 18 feet long would make it a $40.00 registration fee wouldn't it?

I would think so, need to check my registration for this year and see how much I was charged.

$40 license and $10 clerk fee. If the money is going for continued improvement that is one thing I just would like to know where the money is going as I don't see that many improvements and when they do happen it generally is funded on a local level.
