Yeah, Buck ... Cumberland is pulled down to ~690 for Winter Pool (Summer Pool is ~723). The drainage area did not receive enough rain to take it to Summer Pool this year.

They kept it down to work on the gates at the dam according to a corps news release.

Sad to say it was a tough week. Either I suck at crappie fishing or the conditions weren't right or both. Tried everything; main lake coves, up the creeks... minnows, hair jigs, soft plastics, etc... Wolf creek was 2-3 degrees cooler than some of the other creeks but only found a few (with some help). The ones we found were 20' deep in 20-25 fow. water temp was 76.5 - 78 something. We did get a guide to catch some stripers on Wednesday. Have some fish fillets in the freezer, but no crappie.
