Me and deebo spent dawn to11:00 both days this weekend on the water. I resorted to using minnows to help with the mushy bite, and the fish did not disappoint. No clue how many I caught, maybe 75 Saturday (2 people) and at least 50 today. Catching my fish on open water submerged timber in 30+ feet of water. Active fish between 4-10 feet biting minnows on a black 1/16 oz jighead. I’ve tried it all, and minnows have been out fishing jigs (in my boat) 5/1 so it is what it is. Lots of 9-9 15/16 sized fish, maybe a half dozen over 10”
Boated today, I’ve got a freezer full I haven’t kept a fish since reelfoot. Anyway good fishing men and y’all be safe.

Me, we chatted for a bit, super nice fella, way cleaner boat than mine. If you see this and want to shout out please do, I’m terrible with names.

Tville as in Tompkinsville? Where are you fishing at down there? My wife is from there and I've been thinking about trying to find somewhere to fish next time we go down to visit her family.

I was there on the Friday before Fathers Day. Off the water about noon with the same results.
Put in at Settlers and people were coming in like wildfire as I was leaving.
