Size: 74.6 KBgreat trip to Reelfoot with some friends over the weekend. Caught big bull bluegill all weekend, jigged trees and pads with grizzly’s and crickets. The lake was devoid of fisherman and most of the resorts had half to three quarter empty parking lots, twenty years ago this place was booming. Sad to see it in decline, I’ve been going for 25 years. On the flip side it’s nice to have a lake to yourself.

Thanks for sharing. Have always wanted to fish there. Those look like quality gills. Was that a guided trip or on your own?

That was our own, but he’d you’ve never been I would consider hiring a guide for a day.

The cricket is the ticket. But if I dip lily pads I’ll use a grizzly jig tipped with a wax worm.
