Default Whet will next weeks weather do you the bite?

First off thanks I phone for the predictive text as you can tell by the thread title. How do you think the bite will be on green & Cumberland towards the end of the week next week? Thinking about trying to take a couple vacation days if those with experience think it will turn on.

Short answer, yes It should be a great week for spring fishing on most KYlakes. They are biting now on my home waters, some days better than others but the spawn has yet to really take hold.

I believe it would be a great time to take two days or more!

You’d think it would be the best week so far this year.

Today on Green we caught a bunch of little ones & had put 9 pretty nice ones in the livewell but turned them loose so i never checked size after that. All i was doing was practicing with my livescope unit anyway. Better fish came main lake. Started up river & smoked the dinks & then went down lake & started catching a few better quality fish with boat a sitting anywhere from 30 to 45 feet of water & the decent fish were around 20 or so feet. I can't catch them shallow evidently.
Thanks Retired2Fish thanked you for this post

Considering they're pulling the heck out of the lake, I'd say you did pretty good. You aren't catching them shallow because the lake is being drawn down and the fish have backed away from the shallows. When it stabilizes, they gonna start heading to the spawning banks.
A few years ago, at our Spring Fling, MRDux/rnvinc were catching good fish Pulling cranks. I Pushed jigs in the same general area & caught fish. We were both fishing out in the middle of the lake !! Many of the other people fishing were catching them in shallow water upriver. Many decades ago my buddies and I were catching Slabs right next to the bank in front of the State Campground (ie: the beach) in less than 3fow. Last year, Onready & I were catching our fish in 5fow, and others were catching them in <2fow.
The fish are probably just getting into pre-spawn mode, after the muddy water & falling water levels ... so, yeah, they're probably gonna be scattered.
