    Check on your local FIN's lakes in that area. I believe they're mostly stocked with Channel Catfish & Rainbow Trout, but some have had Hybrid Bluegill stocked at one time or another.

    McNeely is about as good as it gets without a boat. You will have company, and they are city folk… lots of trash and children running unsupervised. Good luck.

    Its a little farther, but some of the forestry lakes in Southern Indiana can be pretty good. Not sure how the bank access is right now.
