Default Site 1 at Green during winter

Does anybody on here use Site 1 ramp in the winter time at Green River? Usually coming from where I’m at I use Smith Ridge ramp so I am not as familiar with Site 1.

Taylorsville lake is blown out right now so I think I’m going to hit green in the morning and I started to second-guess going to site one but it is the closest to where I want to fish at. Thank you.

All I know about Site 1 is ........... they have a new floating dock

And according to the COE ... they're letting water out at over 2200 cfs (after the 4.5' rise in level from the rains)

I used smith ridge last time I fished green. Launching wasn’t an issue but you had to put your boat on the ramp to get it. The dock is 8’ from the water and 10’ in the air.

I've been launching at green river marina lately because the last time i went to site one it was hard to get in the boat from the courtesy dock. Been a while though.

It sure needed a new one. It will be so easy to get into the boat now or tie up when launching alone. As long as the ramps usuable it will be good to go now.

Went today and got in at Site 1. Perfect winter weather day today which made it nice. I spent the day mainly riding around marking waypoints. Did fish a little and caught one small crappie. Fush were hard to find today but I did find some good structure to check next time I am on Green.

The walkway is nice but the platform is about half the size it needs to be. I used it today but I imagine on a busy day its gonna be a line

Stained but not milk chocolate. It was like glass at times today. It was clear enough to see how shallow it was when I went across the shallow spot near the dam. I was scanning it out of curiosity and when I seen the bottom and realized how shallow it was I trimmed the motor up out of water for a second.
