Looking at the chart tells me it came up several feet and is being pulled back down, so it may have alot of color to the water at Holms bend area, but don't know for sure.https://water.weather.gov/ahps2/hydr...lmk&gage=grlk2
I know a lot of fisherman don’t go out this time of year but I am planning on going out tomorrow. Haven’t been to Green since mid October. Wondering if fish are still tight to cover in about 12-15 fow or if they were moving to creek channel ledges. I fish Holmes Bend area usually between dock to the bridge. Thanks for any help in advanced.

Well I did get out yesterday. When I left the house my truck showed 19*. It wasn’t bad on the water. Got out around 7:30 and sun felt good. No wind so that helped. Fished around Fisher Bend. Water was 44* and I would say maybe heavy stained. Had about 6-10 in visibility. Few scattered fish on flats but any schools on flats were close to creek channel. Found hugh amount of fish suspended over channel about 10-12 ft down either right on the break in 15-20 fow or in 28 fow in channel. Had trouble getting them to bite. I was spider rigging and used about 30 different colors and shapes. Talked to another boater and he was spider rigging with minnows or plastics tipped with minnows. He wasn’t having much luck either. He said he seen fish after fish come to his bait, look at it and swim away. I seen another boat single pole with livescope, didn’t talk to him but he was only getting a hit ever once in a while. I did find that when I would speed up around .6 -.7 mph I would get a look see (than when something hits it but won’t take it completely). Early afternoon I switched to long lining and ran about 1.0 mph. I did pick up 4 nice size keepers after that. Only had 1 keeper and some shorts early. The guy in other boat said he was in same spot the day before and was burning them up. He couldn’t figure it out either. Now by late afternoon the channel was almost empty, I don’t know where they went. All in all I had a pretty good day. Never got cold, caught a few fish and enjoyed a peaceful day enjoying God’s creation. I am truly blessed.
