What I copied/pasted is all there is on their entire Facebook page. No pics, no tourney results, no discussions, nothing.

KCT no longer has tournaments on Green but they still have them on Barren, Rough River, Nolin and Taylorsville. Go to the Kentucky Crappie Trail Facebook page for info.

That’s why they were told they had to have insurance etc. it’s on the state parks & not a requirement for corps of engineers ramps. I was told that by the corps of engineers.

If there are any I can only hope the tournament directors are more empierced that the one/ones that organized the crappie shoot out on Dale Hollow earlier this month. Read about it, look at the pictures of hundreds if not thousands of dead crappie. Even some of the the folks that fished in it told stories about all the dead fish in live wells and floating in the water from being pulled up from 30 plus feet deep. Nothing good about that tournament for Dale hollow nothing!

Anything weighed in should have to be alive.

I think the problem was that the fish were so deep (30-50fow) they got the bends from being pulled out of those depths and were not treated ("fizzed") before being put in the livewells. Friend of mine said he fizzed his fish, and if the bladder was sticking out of the fish's mouth they survived ... but if not, they didn't make it. He had 18-20lbs in the two day tourney & only finished in the 30 somethings place. That tells me they were weighing in dead fish (IMHO). The really bad PR part of it all was the dead fish floating and several 120qt coolers full of dead fish. Still don't know what happened to all those dead fish.

Les young Lake Cumberland Crappie Club just had a tourney on the 26Th. They have another on December 10th. That is about all I know I got out of them about 3 years ago. If you know Justin Creech or Chris Morgan they fish them. Justin is from somerset and Chris is form casey county..I don't have either one of there phone numbers but I prolly can get Chris Morgans if you want it....
