My immediate plan is to dodge the storms and give those taylorsville crappie a shot tonight. I do pretty good fishing around the green light.

Well folks I haven't been crappie fishing since May. I have been fishing Friday night bass tournaments all summer and fortunately they are about over. Lol
The water temp is 84 still and the thermocline is at about 18ft. Water is clear, visibility is about 5 ft.
I'm really looking forward to getting back at it. I have my new lvs34 installed and it is much better than my early addition lvs32.
Rough River/Nolin lake crappie tournaments start in October. Got to get ready for that. If any of yall are interested in that shoot me a PM or go to the Facebook page rough river/ Nolin Kentucky Crappie trail.
What are your fishing plans?

Love to hear how trip to Nolin goes
The Nolin trip went well. A buddy of mine went as well. We both took our own boats and fished Furnace hollow. We caught several fish but only managed 10 keepers. We did mark a lot of structure and found some nice schools of fish. The fish were deep mostly between 12 and 18 ft deep. Best bait was silver and green ACC jig. Water temperature was 81 water was really clear.
