Last couple of days have been lights out fishing, but it has been a late bite. At 11:00 both days I may have had three or four keepers in the boat, but it flips like a switch around lunchtime. I made laps
Around 4 of these nests that are isolated on a flat
About 150 yards total radius. When they decide to bite it has been fierce, inhaling my 1/4oz offering. Most of my hook sets were embedded in the skull, no lips to even rip.
** Side note, For those of you in the know, keep sending my daughter prayers, but she had been in Cincy Childrens Hospital for a week that overlapped the Spring Fling. There was a chance that She was going to need a liver transplant and by the grace of god her liver began functioning again on its own. 7 days in The pediatric ICU , but we are back home and getting healthy.
