I was there Friday and no, not bad at all.
There were so many boats on the water everything was washed ashore very quickly.
All 4 ramp parking lots were over full.
Most boats I've ever seen in one day.
Hi, has anyone been on Taylorsville Lake the past day or two? I'm planning to go later on today and was wondering if there's alot of debris floating around. I wonder If I should stay home today and go fishing next week instead.

I believe it. 80 percent of them are full throttle....fish for 10 minutes...full throttle.

Wouldn't surprise me .... floating trash OR the number of boats. We were on Green the whole weekend & dodged floating limbs & logs all three days ... but then the lake did come up 3ft prior to our being there, and only fell a few inches during those three days. Holmes Bend lot was full Fri & Sat, but maybe half full today.
We caught some nice ones by fishing in deeper water.
Most others fishing the banks were catching mostly dinks.
I find Taylorsville Lake about the same all week long for being so busy.
Sometimes middle of the week is worse than weekends.
I guess everyone is thinking the same thing (LOL)

I was out Friday and lake was crazy with boats. Fishing was pretty good, lots of waves like the above mentioned. Larger fish, for me, were not up shallow or at least they were hiding well !!
