    Default Green River Lake

Day one started off a little cool this morning 26 degrees. Fished out of Holmes Bend. Water temperature around 52 and still a little stain. Pretty breezy all day. Ended up with 15 keepers and about 100 dinks. Caught most of them in 5 ft or less water. Could not find many schooled up. When I did I couldn’t stay on them because of wind. Scattered around pretty good. Going to Robinson Creek tomorrow.

Not a great day to be out but you made it worthwhile with a mess of fish.

Some days on Green a 15 fish boated day is "eventful" .... then there's other days where 100+ boated fish is not all that eventful.

Good luck man! I’ve always had better luck on the Robinson creek end of the lake anyway. Gonna be warm if you can handle the wind!

Went to Robinson Creek and didn’t like the way the wind direction it was blowing so went back to Holmes Bend. Fished a river channel all day with 12 keepers. Did not see a lot of fish except what was schooled up on underwater trees but wind prevented me from staying on them. Looked on flats off channel but seen very little. Water clearing up well.
Went back today and had about 3 hours before wind got to rough and ran me in. Today found channel full of fish with lots along channel ledge. Even fished the flats and found fish there. Big difference in one day. Picked up 8 keepers before I left. Today I was long lining with jigs. Blue and chartreuse/ black and chartreuse/ green and chartreuse worked best. I clean one black crappie male that was turning dark color. Lake 52 degrees so with about 5 more degrees it should be game on.
