The COE link/page hasn't been working for some time now. Not sure what the deal is

    I use
    Lake Levels-TVA.Com
For all TVA lakes. Some COE lakes like Barkley are there also. The factor I use the most is the discharge rate at the dams. Discharge rate = current. Current is great in summertime but it means the lake will be full of trash other times— like now.

Let me further explain. If the lake level jumps up quickly, like recently, it floats all the trash, leaves, pine needles, etc off the banks. That trash will then be floating AND suspended in the water column, unseen until it shows up on your line or bait, until the current subsides.

I went across the Kentucky Dam about noon and EVERY gate was open and they are dumping the lake. I assume for the upcoming rain event tomorrow.

Louisville District Lake Level Report link is working now. Louisville District Daily Lake Report

But, the water temps/O2 levels part won't be started/updated for another few weeks or so.
