Thread: Looking for a little help

I am a construction supt. from GA staying in Bowling Green for the next 6 months. I am an old rascal and am stuck on the bank. I have researched the Bowling Green area for fishing spots and have come up with a couple, but the weather hasn't been too kind to me for trying them out. The one place that I have gone to several times is the Barren River tail race. Haven't caught anything yet, just too cold, I guess. I am working up in Cromwell and would appreciate any information on somewhere around Bowling Green or Beaver Dam that I could wet a hook in the evenings after work or on the weekends when I am up here and off work. Wherever I go, it would need to be pretty close. I would like to catch some crappie, but anything that bites a hook would be welcome. I am hoping to catch some hybrids in the tail race or some catfish if I don't get on some crappie. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
