Bimini top
Opinion on best height for a bimini top on centre console. Was informed that 6ft provides minimal shade? Thanks Leo

IMO,the top should be just higher than the tallest occupant and well clear of the windshield. I ran bay boats for years and love them. Just never tried to put a Bimini top on mine. It should provide much more shade than the console cover.

I am 6’ 4” tall and ordered a top that I can comfortably stand under. My wife actually ordered it off of Amazon, we have been very pleased with it. You do get some Sun from the sides with the height, when it really is nice though is if you decide to stay out all day. About noon it is worth every penny it cost to be able to enjoy the shade.
