    Default Taylorsville 9/13/21

Got to the lake plenty early today only to find Possum Ridge loaded with 40 Monday morning Bass Tournament guys.
Took my time and waited for them to blast off. One bass guy said they would weigh in at 11:00 am.
After launching I headed to one of my spots and it was loaded. 11-12.5 FOW but holding in heavy brush. Caught several pretty quick single pole jigging and had 5 keepers by 9:30 or so. Bluegrass seemed to be the color but had to be tipped with a minnow. Water temp 78-79 and stained.
Buddy was pushing minnows and I took him to the northern part of the lake because he had never been there. I continued to single pole in shallow water while he pushed in 18-24 FOW.
He left without catching many all day and zero keepers. I intended to fish until dark but that all changed when I got a call from him.
He loaded his boat and got half way up the hill at Settlers and starboard trailer bearing went south.
I came off water to help him and gave my keepers to guy in pontoon that was keeping fish.
There he was on the shoulder.
Long story short, we went to parts store in Taylorsville and changed inner/outer bearings and races with limited tools. Just glad the bearings didn’t go out on the Gene Snider or 64 running 65mph.
    Chuck.
