That was a beautiful tribute. Sorry for your loss.
May the Lord maketh His face to shine upon you and your family and give you strength and faith that all will be well (even better) when you are again reunited. So it is written... so it shall be.
My heartfelt prayers and condolences join with all of the others that are and will continue with you and your family through this time of much morning and sorrow.

Your tribute nearly had me in tears.
My heart aches for you, I don't know how I would bear losing my wife.
My wife and I drive to KY lake from Indiana a couple times a year and we always wish we could live there.
Your memories of your wife will stick with me and I pray strength for you!

My condolences to you and your family. Someone that special, I am sure has left some of herself behind in your daughters laughs and smiles for you. Thank you for sharing this with us. She sounds like a very special person. Take comfort that she has finally reached her "Forever Home" and is catching a few with the Lord. God bless you and your family.

I only know you through your posts here on Crappie.com, but you are a brother crappie fisherman and that is enough for me. My heart goes out to you in your loss and my deepest prayers are with you and your family. I am a recently retired minister after 35 years of service in the United Methodist Church and have seen and experienced death from every angle. It is never easy, and there will continue to be a hole in your heart that only your precious loved one can fill. But I know in my heart that God is with you and will help you through this difficult time. Someone once said that this life is only the dress rehearsal for a better life to come. I believe that is true. There will come a day in the not too distant future when you and Laura will be reunited to live life to its fullest extent of happiness and joy.

You gave your wife a great tribute that came from the heart. You have my deepest sympathy on the loss of your wife and I pray you’ll find comfort in the Lord.
I’m sorry to say that I know all to well how you feel as my wife lost her 8 year battle with cancer 3 months ago today. We had also moved to Kentucky lake about 6 years ago from Illinois.
