    IM ordering a new submersible light For crappie fishing ,was wondering which one works best white or green

    Gooch ... it's probably like any of the other "which is better" questions -- it depends on whom you ask !!

    Green light does penetrate the water at greater depths than white light ... so there is that factor to consider.

    Tried them both...I prefer the green

    It depends on water color. Green river i use a green light. At cland i use a floating white light. For me green light at cland is way to bright for how i fish. If i had a dimmer switch on a floating white light i would use it at cland.

    Green for me but I have both. If your good with your hands you could build each for about the price of a store bought light.

    I've used both and as you can see by the answers you've gotten it's mostly a matter of which one you like best.
