So, let me start by saying that I've been crappie fishing the past 10 years or so. The only way I know how to catch crappie is when they are fairly close to bank in 10FOW or less most of the time. I usually like throwing roadrunners or minnows under a slip bobber. I have very limited success but finally got my first limit about 3 weeks ago.

Here is what I seek. Help catching more crappie. I read so many of your guys success stories and am trying to figure what I need to do to be more successful. I have a Nitro 700 so I dont have a lot of space up front. I also am lacking in electronics and basically have nothing more than a depth finder. I know I need to start with an upgrade there.

But I still dont know which method would be best for me to set up. Should I try pushing jigs or long line trolling? I've watched hundreds of videos but still dont feel like I know how to get set up.

I know things are still good for crappie fishing but when things slow down I would love if someone would be willing to help me out. If not on the wayer even in the garage to show me how you get set up. I'm always willing to provide gas or breakfast or any other expenses. I'm just really trying to learn how to catch these guys more consistently and I understand you are not always go im ng to have good days. My schedule is very flexible so if anyone ever needs a partner let me know. Thanks.
