Yes they will!!! Called my fishing buddy, and he said, "my wife encourages me to go no matter what!"

Made the hour drive to Green River Lake, and got on the water at 4:30 p.m. Started vertical with jigs in 18.5 FOW water. Put 4 keepers in the boat. Moved to a shallow pile that held fish earlier in the week and started casting. Bam! Picked off 6 more keepers. That pile dried up and we moved to a another pile in 20 FOW that appeared to be holding fish and managed 5 keepers. As the sun was setting we moved backed towards the dock and hit one more shallow pile, casting. That pile gave up 5 nice slabs. My partner caught a big male on the last cast at 8:15 p.m!

We fished only jigs. On the shallow piles we threw 1/16 oz road runners with Bobby Garlands and Bass Pro Triple Ripples on them. On the deep piles, we used 1/18 roadrunners and lead heads with Bobby's on them.

The later it got, the better the bite.

Water color was stained to muddy and 64'F.

Happy Mother's Day to all!
