Still plenty of people camping in LBL right now.
I retired last year after the spring crappie season. Almost since then, I’ve been planning a mega trip to the lake this spring, combining some time camping with the grandkids during their spring break with at least a couple of weeks of fishing.
You know what they say about the best laid plans. Guess the virus showed me what you get for planning to have fun.
Maybe next year!

After 32 straight years coming to Kentucky lake, I have to cancel this spring trip because of this pandemic. Sucks but I’m in that unsafe age bracket.
M R Dux thanked you for this post
That stinks, Kenny. You would probably be safe if you just kept away from people at the motel you stay in. You would just have to not go inside gas stations, restaurants, etc. Pay at the pump...But I understand your hesitation.
Edit..It may be hard to find bait down here.
Fast Eddie's is still open, has plenty of bait.
Sound like I could almost make some money letting boats park by my barn just to charge up! Ha!
You laugh, but I’ve had trips when I’d have paid. Used to stay at Sugar Bay and had a couple of windy weeks I’d gladly have paid for an outlet. Rented a slip at Moors a couple of nights just to charge batteries. Fortunately we had two boats so we didn’t have to drive around.
I think I'll buy all of Fast Eddies Minnows and then sell them for $10 a dozen at the boat ramps no gouging here just supply and demand. Ha!!!
