Thread: Kentucky Lake

Was planning on doing a weekend trip with my wife to Kentucky Lake this weekend. Question is, am I wasting my time. Is the fishing good at all. Comfortable fishing Malcolm Crerl and Blood River. Everything shut down. Restaurants are closed except some for take out. Not checked into a cabin or room yet. Thoughts?

It's the usual thing this time of year, a few guys doing well, while most are struggling. It will be post-frontal conditions this weekend, which can be tough, and will be cold and windy with winds expected from the north/northeast.

If you could delay it a week, I think you'd be happier as warmer temps are expected to return early next week. The way forecast looks right now, next week would be an awesome time to take some days off of work.
