The date is confirmed.
April 11th
Holmes Bend Marina
COE Picnic Shelter/rest rooms (located at the top of the main parking lots & just below the first line of cabins)
You may launch at any ramp, but if you use the Holmes Bend ramp there is a $5 fee. The little building at the entrance to the lower parking lot is where you will find the envelope/ticket for that fee. This is a COE ramp and Holmes Bend Marina is not responsible for the collection of the launch fee.
Fishing may commence at first safe light, then all fish should be brought to the Holmes Bend Marina Fish Cleaning Station (located on the marina dock) by 1PM Central Time. Our cleaning crew will take your fish & process them. The fish fry team will cook the fish, fries, hushpuppies, and there are electrical outlets at the shelter for anyone bringing items that need cooking or re-heating. When the meal is over, there will be a "members only" ticket draw for major Sponsor Donation prizes. We will try and have a "goodie bag" of Sponsor Donation items to give out to ALL that attend.
*For those coming for the weekend and/or those renting cabins from Holmes Bend Marina ... there is a 2day stay minimum for the main 2br & 3br cabins on weekends.
*Due to the date of this year's event, the Holmes Bend Campground will not be available as it does not open until April 17th (so RV & tent campers will have to find another facility).
NOTE : Holmes Bend Marina, The COE, Crappie.com, and the hosts of this event are not responsible for any accidents or injuries that may occur during this event. In the event of severe flooding or severe weather conditions occurring/forecast for the date of the event, the event will be cancelled & postponed until Fall. That determination will be made by Wed. Apr 8th in order to give cabin renters sufficient time to cancel & not have to forfeit their deposit. For those that may be staying in the Suites or Kamper Kabins, please consult the staff of Holmes Bend Marina concerning cancellations when you contact them for rental of these facilities.
Be Safe, wear your PFD & killswitch, be sure you have a valid fishing license, and obey all KDFWR rules/regulations.

I’m off and will be there if Wally doesn’t decide that’s the week we can come down. My dad got a voicemail Monday, on his birthday, from someone congratulating him on winning the fishing trip of a lifetime and that Wally was trying to get in touch with him. Then he got a text saying something about Wally somebody, he says. So he calls me up while I’m at school asking me if Wally was the guy who guide on green river?? Because we entered a drawing for a trip with David Jones while we were at the grizzly show last weekend. I said no that’s David, was it Wally Marshall?? Maybe he says. He had no clue what he had won. After I called grizzly to confirm he later got in touch with Wally and they are working out the details. Guess that’s gonna be a birthday surprise we’ll never be able to top. LOL
Keep on keepin on!!!
That's Easter Weekend, wife says we are booked with grandbabies.
