Wow! What a good day
Today was what i think was the best day at green i have had all year. Fished from 10 to 4. We had a 2 man limit in less than 2 hours. Had a total of 104 keepers and 50 of those was 11 to 12.5 inches. All caught single poling in 16 to 20 fow and I think the water temp 52. While is was cloudy our best colors was blue monkey, wildcat, big blue. When the sun was out purple popper, sunshine and sparklin' wanda worked best. It did seem to help having a slab stick on. We used shrimp, crawfish, grape shad, anise/shad and shad/garlic....Sorry, no pictures we both left our phones in the truck. But best thing nobody fished in sight of us all day. That has become a rarity at green river any more...All of them was released

Rodney. I showed up today at the last second. We did keep some fish and caught them spider rigging mostly. Jigs with minnows and hogs with slab sticks in shad and garlic proved to be the trick. Had about 85 keepers in 3.5 hours. We also had some great quality sized fish today
