I had to cancel a trip to Lake Erie due to my friends illness so I'm looking for options to go somewhere else.
Got any pics? How close is it to Cumberland? How many beds does it have? Rates? How many vehicles w/boats can be parked there?
    PM info if you'd like.

Max .. the GETAWAY cabin is about 2mi up the road from Holmes Bend Marina & Resort on Green River Lake. That's a little over an hours drive (1-1.5hrs) from the nearest part of Cumberland Lake. It's 2br (full & single in each room) and could sleep 6. Pictures available at TIMSCATCHINGCRAPPIE.COM - Home
You'd have to contact Tim (t.slabseeker) for info on parking space.

I drove by it this week when I was up in that area working. It looks like it is brand new. Looks very nice.

It depends on what part of cumberland you fish. It takes me about 45 minutes to get to get to ramps around Russell Springs probably 1 hour or so to get to pc park at fishing creek...So that means it probably take most less time. I drive pretty slow....lol

Looks perfect to me. Looks like it will sleep 4 adults (all men)
I haven't talked to my friend yet about rescheduling a different trip yet, I'm just thinking ahead.
We've been to C-land the last 2 springs but we were camping. We've "talked" about fishing GRL but neither of us have been there. The only think I know about GRL is what I've read on here but I like fishing new waters.
If C-land is within an hour drive that's reasonable if we'd like to add that for a day or 2 for something different.

Cland is low and dropping. Saw a sign yesterday that Fishing Creek Rec area ramp is closed. There are several other ramps nearby but you may want to check on accessibility. Just my .
Yes, as a matter of fact, I do have a retirement plan...FISHING!
