What method did you use littlejohn?
You are on a roll.
Buckeye.if I don't go back to the spots I fish before. I will try to find bait fish or crappie in the area and set up on some travel lanes. May it be points, channels, humps and drop offs. If setting up on brush piles it will be closed but not directly over the pile. Night fishing I am thinking the crappie are moving more and not being in the brush but related to it. I use two submerging lights put them out and wait on the bait fish to come in mostly shad. If no shad comes in to the lights after a certain time being out you not going catch very few crappie. Got to have patients on this waiting I will wait up to an hour or so. If by the this time no bait fish I will move to another spot and srt up again. Lot of times if u fish a lake a lot you can go back to the same spots that you know produces and this helps out a big lot. Well hope this help's you a little. Night fishing is fun doing the hot days of summer and all the boat travel.

Thanks, kinda new to the game and starting to develop some spots here in SE Ohio. Hoping to hit Cave Run later this year or Lake Cumberland when it cools off some.
