They run about like a bandit 100 pulling. Of course pushing with a weight you can go as deep as you want. Whats good about the square bills is ....if they hit cover such as grass, brush, limbs, etc. most of the the time when the bill hits cover it will deflect the lure and keep from getting hung up,

I’ll be using the Squarebills behind 4-5oz weights on a 3-4’ leader on a dropper rod running it directly under my boat. Once I find the depth level the shad schools (baitballs) are at, I can put the bait directly in the top 1/2 of the baitballs.

I’ll be pushing the square bills as soon as I get my order just ordered. Can’t wait to get them.

Just curious as to what the advantage of a square bill will be other that a different type of action if you’re not fishing shallow?

I want to bounce the square bills off some stump beds that are located down the sides of a creek channel in the middle of a lake that the crappie like to hang around. And also, I think you will have a more exactness as to how deep they are running pushed. Also should be able to see them with my electronics. I have been using a few old Bailey balsa b’s I had in one of my bass tackle boxes.

I want to dictate the depth of my crankbait when using a dropper rod by the weight. Using a 3-4" leader, I'm not giving the crank much chance of diving deeper so the bait is at the depth of my sinker.
