The hosting staff, Crappie.com, the donating sponsors, the Corps of Engineers, and/or Holmes Bend Marina bare no responsibility for accidents, injury, or damages incurred to people or equipment involved in this event. You attend/fish at your own risk.
Had the forecast been for "severe" thunderstorms, I would have cancelled the event (today).
SPECIAL NOTE *
Holmes Bend requires a 48hr notice of cancellation for your cabin rental, should you decide to cancel and not attend.
If you do decide to cancel & you're a volunteer bringing items for the event ... PM me ASAP !!

Unfortunately due to the 80-100% chance of thunderstorms coming in my crew is going to call it and hold off to make the drive to Green. Just cancelled a 2 bedroom cabin reservation at Holmes Bend if anybody is in need of one. If you’ve already made a deposit, it is non-refundable but you can apply it to another stay within 365 days of cancelling. Just be sure to mention it when you call.

I hate that I’m missing everyone but my dad just can’t get around the boat like he used to and adding wet carpet is begging for trouble. We’ll be making a couple trips back to fish Green this year and hope to see some of you guys on the water.
