Default Tough day on the lake

Was on Nolin lake for a local tournament today and was probably the worst day of fishing I have had in awhile. I caught 0 Crappie and half dozen small bass. I was bummed about the my results until the weigh in and only 4 fish total was weighed. Not sure what happened to bite but man it was tough I threw everything at it but the kitchen sink and couldn’t buy a bite today. Hopefully everyone else had better luck!

I had the same luck on Grayson lake today! Caught maybe 4 crappie and none had any size. Tried minnows, casting jigs, and longlining. The bite has died all of a sudden

The wind was kicking here too, I used everything In my aresenal but no fish. Not sure if the spawn is declining and the bulk of the fish has moved back out or if the crappy weather has them suspended out deep. Hopefully next weekend will be better.

Pcdimis I’m not sure about where they went, I was the 2nd place in the tournament you fished and we looked and looked for them. We were not even marking fish over deep water. We have to spend sometime on Rough this week for next Saturday!

Good lord! Sounds like it was brutal. I've been wanting to get back to Nolin soon. May wait a few weeks lol

Taylorsville lake was the same way Friday fellas. Me and my brother fished roughly 5 hrs and had 8 keepers and several dinks. Prolly half dozen bass. We were thinking it was the water condition, been up 5.5 to 6 ft for a wk now, and 20-30mph winds but maybe it was something else it sounds like.
