I was at Ky lake, 20-25mph winds for the day in May and decided my little 16ft boat was not going to work. I went to the Irvin Cobb 'Dock' and asked the owner if we could fish off the dock. They let us, and we fished around the fish cleaning station and the Yellow Bass were everywhere. You'd have to catch 6 or more until you got a good one. We ended up with about 35 decent fish for the day. We made sure we spent some money at the dock for bait, food, drinks, ice to help him out. Appreciated the dock owner letting us fish, otherwise, we probably would have spent the day in our cabin.
