Awesome day. Looks like you have definitely figured out Nolin in the Spring.

I always fish Barren during the winter and spring, then switch over to Nolin during the summer. With Barren having such high water this year, fishing has been tough on it for me. (Barren is still 14 ft over summer pool) So I’ve started fishing Nolin. Never really fished it below summer pool before, but I’m starting to figure it out. Barren seems to have more stained water and I always use the darker baits like black/blue/chartreuse and junebug/chartreuse. The water on Nolin has been really clear, and pink & pearl have been hot for me. Water temps 63-65 degrees. Quality of fish is good, had 60 keepers with nothing under 10”. Catching fish anywhere from 3-10 ft deep. Had to survive the weekend boat traffic and the bass tournament boats creating the tsunami chop, but we still had a good day.

Very nice! I was just talking about Nolin yesterday. Wondering how the crappie were doing there this year. Thanks for answering my unasked question!!

Not looking for specific spots but can you tell what part of the lake? I fished Red Rock today and fought the weather but we only caught two. I'm here all week on vacation and really want to find some fish. PM if necessary. Thank you.
