    Default Taylorsville 4/1

Had a great trip to Taylorsville Lake today with my family. We started at 8:30 and quit at around 6:00 with a 5 man limit, it is no telling how many fish were caught and every fish kept was well over 10 inches. We found fish spider rigging at .2 to .4 mph in about 30 to 35 fow, 6 to 8 ft deep, water was roughly 54 degrees. Best jig colors were Green Pumpkin/Chartreuse, Monkey Milk, Blue Ice/Chartreuse. It was just a wonderful day with the gang.Name: Capture%2B_2019-04-02-22-09-33.jpeg

That water stays at a more or less stable level and they should be headed to the banks in a few days. (I hope) CJpar3 & I are planning on fishing T-ville this weekend, so thanks for the report & pics ... it does give us hope !! And if we don't catch anything, I'll just say "you caught them all"

I talked to a couple guys that were catching them in about 4 ft of water using a float and minnow, so some are probably already on the banks. Good Luck, we are headed back Thursday if all goes well.
