Nice Video. Hopefully all this stuff works. I think the commercial fishing will be the one that puts the biggest dent in the population.
I don't know if this link will work, but here is an interesting video on Asain carp. Im not smart enough to get it un-linked from facebook.

Crappie spawning and morels popping up at the same time. What was God thinking when he made that schedule. It's pure torture every spring deciding which to do.Tn Johnboy LIKED above post

You can still watch it by simply clicking on the "Not Now" button when prompted to join/open a FB account, then click on the video (triangle) and it will play.
Right now I am just thankful to have some bait fish showing back up in our lakes. The crappie are looking much better than the past couple of years.
The rest of this scenario is still a work in progress, so let's just support the state DNR and hope for the best.

Great video, Adam Martin. Thanks crappie&shrooms for posting it. Just seeing the schools of bait in late summer was cause for optimism after going months cleaning crappie with empty stomachs.

This is by far the most optimistic thing i have seen concerning the carp situation. I appreciate the efforts to do something to control them, and to keep concerned fisherman informed.
Great video! Thanks for sharing. We need some reasons to be positive for these fisheries!!
