Thread: Long overdue Thanks to Ed, Slab Moes

I owe a thanks to Ed for a couple of things he has done for me the past.
I ask a while back about a jacket or something like that to wear when driving cars on my job. Well he sent me a very nice fleece jacket that works well for what I wanted. Then at the recent KY lake Shindig he brought shirts for those lucky enough to get on the list before the thread closed, I MADE IT this time. Just last week I ordered and received that bright orange cap to go with them. Now I'm a walking billboard for the greatest fishing site on the web.

This statement is so true. Large social media sites could be the same way if they were not simply "money grubbers", and we all know what sites I'm talking about. No need to bash them any more than I do already.

But it's not me, I'm just the lucky guy that got the domain name and put up a message board here. It's all about you fishermen (and women and kids too), and especially all our moderators/supermods that help keep it clean and friendly. And yes of course, there's Inspector "G", beyond making a million posts a day, he checks every new users to see that they are not spammers, and even welcomes them aboard (plus much more behind the scenes, much just keeping me on the straight and narrow).
